National Indoor Plant Week is September 16-22 and Pete’s Hardware has a variety of houseplants for everyone.

What Pete Says

Houseplants have proven benefits to our environment. The plants will clean indoor air by absorbing toxins, increasing humidity and producing oxygen. The greenery will boost moods, concentration and adds a sense of tranquility to our space. Caring for plants can be therapeutic.

But maybe you have already killed your fair share of houseplants and you would like an ultra-easy-care plant to enjoy in your home.

Air plants come to mind. No pots, no dirt, just a little watering and sunlight is required to have them thrive for years. Succulents practically thrive on neglect. The biggest mistake you can make is overwatering the plant. Grape Ivy or Oakleaf Ivy adds a colorful lush look to a room draping over a pot, hanging from a basket or growing vertically.

Whatever your gardening skill, Pete’s Hardware has a plant for you so you can be a part of celebrating Indoor Plant week.
